Location, Location, Location!
As they say, success depends on three things and all three of them are "location." We were very fortunate to find the perfect location for Quicksilver right in the heart of Spring Street's "Gallery Row." Just a few steps away are the Eureka Grill sidewalk cafe, the New Orleans Hotel, several other fine galleries and the public restrooms!
Eureka Springs, here seen from East Mountain Overlook, is a very special secret place, full of hidden gardens and springs, authentic Victorian homes, and beautiful natural ledges intersperced with hundred-year-old stone walls set in the forested Ozark hills.
The East Mountain Gazebo also functions as an excellent outdoor wedding site as it looks across at the stately Crescent Hotel on West Mountain. The Crescent is one of Eureka Springs' landmarks and is undergoing a wonderful rebirth through restoration by new owners, Marty and Elise Roegnik.
Just below the gardens and lawns of the Crescent Hotel, the bell tower of the St. Elisabeth's Catholic Church serves as gateway to the church grounds. It's the perfect spot to watch the full moon rise through the pines after spending the day dining and shopping in the historic downtown.
This stairway through stone takes you above Sweet Spring to one of many foot paths through the woods. Eureka is a perfect town for strolling or hiking, the best way to discover hidden treasures from the past. Walking alone is safe any time day or night on the streets of Eureka Springs.
Many things you will see on the streets of Eureka like this horse drawn wedding carriage passing right in front of our galledry are things a bit out of the ordinary. If you don't want ordinary, come to Eureka Springs...and shop at Quicksilver!
